Zoomlion Presents Motorbike to Street Cleaner Who Returned Lost GHC20,000

Zoomlion Ghana Limited has presented a brand-new motorbike to a street cleaner, Mr. Salifu Ibrahim, popularly known as MBA Baba Fiter, in a ceremony at the Lamashegu Chief’s Palace. This final reward fulfils the company’s promise to honour him for his integrity in returning GHC20,000 he found while working in Tamale to the rightful owner.

Before this ceremony, Baba Fiter had already been recognised and rewarded for his honest act in various ways. He received a monetary reward of an undisclosed amount in cedis and dollars and was also treated to a luxurious stay in a plus hotel in Accra, and was publicly praised by a board member of the Jospong Group of Companies (JGC), Dr. Ato Sarpong. His colleagues and supervisors also commended his dedication and discipline.

The ceremony, attended by chiefs, elders, and community members, had the Chief of Lamashegu, Nyab Lamashenaa, officially hand over the brand-new motorbike to Baba Fiter. The smile on Baba Fiter’s face was a testament to the joy and fulfilment that comes with doing the right thing.

Baba Fiter’s story is a shining example of integrity in action. His selfless act has earned him loud applause and made him a household name in Ghana.

The management of JGC used the medium to congratulate MBA Baba Fiter on this well-deserved recognition, stating that his actions have made him a role model and a symbol of honesty.

“We are proud to have him as part of the Zoomlion team and look forward to continuously inspiring others through his example.

Congratulations once again to Baba Fiter on this wonderful achievement!” JGC expressed.
