Zoomlion Ghana Limited has signed a strategic agreement with the Addis Ababa City Administration to enhance waste management infrastructure and services within Ethiopia’s capital. This collaboration underscores our commitment to delivering sustainable environmental solutions across Africa.

The project is expected to create approximately 5,000 new jobs across the broader waste management value chain in Kinshasa and will introduce technical know-how, job training, and infrastructure investment to elevate the city’s transition toward a circular economy.

After visiting Zoomlion’s subsidiaries where the waste management equipment was being assembled, the Committee Chairman, Abraham Boadi, underscored that integrating skip tricycles into Kumasi’s waste management plan would bring significant benefits. “We plan to engage with the General Assembly to ensure this initiative is properly implemented,” he said. “With five sub-metros in the Ashanti Region, allocating this equipment across each of them would be highly beneficial,”

The high-level meeting marks a significant milestone in Zoomlion’s Africa Expansion agenda to deploy cutting-edge, sustainable sanitation solutions across the continent. It also reflects a shared commitment to tackling the growing waste management challenges in Africa through innovation, partnership, and long-term vision.
